Dry Clean

We wash our shirts using special soap at cool temperatures to minimize shrinkage. Every shirt is inspected for broken buttons, and to ensure proper pressing of the collar, armholes, cuffs and placket. Special shirt hangers have been selected to keep the proper shape of the collar and shoulders. Plastic studs are used in all French cuffs. For customers who prefer to have their shirts on hangers: shirts are packed in thicker plastic to protect the press job. We cover the shoulders with garment covers. For customers who prefer to have their shirts folded; shirts are packed with recycled tissue paper and protected in individual bags. Your clean hand finished shirts will be placed in a environmentally friendly reusable folded shirt bag. On each visit the bag will be washed.

Alteration

We perform all types of alterations at our locations. We can resize your dress, suit, or other garment to be smaller or larger. We can raise, lower, or repair hems.

Wedding Gown

Your wedding gown is one of your most precious possessions. It is a symbol of an important event in your life and should be treated with special care. Whether you are borrowing it from a relative or buying it new, your gown deserves professional attention. The key to beautifully cleaning and preserving your gown is to begin the process as soon as possible. Stains will not have time to set and/or oxidize, which can make it much more difficult to achieve complete stain removal. At Parkers we use only acid free boxes, tissue and body forms. Your gown will be packed in a wedding chest that can be opened whenever you so choose. You will be provided with cotton gloves that will enable you to handle your gown before safely returning it to your re-sealable chest Dont forget for your bridal shower that friends can purchase coupons toward cleaning your gown too!
